After months of qualifiers, Joker has become the champion of the Asia Championship after defeating Maabo in the finals. The tournament featured 53 qualified players. 48 came from Japan, three from SEA, and Hong Kong and Taiwan got one representative.
After six rounds of swiss, Joker qualified for the top cut after scoring a 5-1 finish and taking the fifth slot of the top eight. During the top eight, Joker started his journey to the tournament after dropping his first game against Kira’s Black and Yellow Big Mom, but he managed to claw his way up to the finals after winning his next matches.
The grand finals featured a mirror match between the two Whitebeard placers cementing Whitebear’s position as the new King of Red. Maabo took the driver’s seat in the early rounds after triggering a Moby Dick and filling the board with characters. Due to taking some initial damages, Maabo activated his Moby Dick earlier than Joker and applied pressure. The tides favored Joker during the last round as he managed to pick one of Maabo’s blockers Marco with Otama and 9-cost Whitebeard’s effect. Maabo was forced to block with his remaining Marco when the Whitebeard attacked with 12K power. After seeing that his opponent was left open, Joker decided to go all-in attacking with his 4 and 5-cost Marcos forcing Maabo to drop his remaining Guard Point and Radical Beam. Joker attached his remaining don to his leader and attacked with 14K power. This was the perfect attack because Maabo only got four +2000 counters (Two Makino, One Jozu, One Otama), putting his leader with the same power as Joker. Maabo failed to defend the attack, and Joker emerged as the tournament champion.

Joker received a trophy and the #001 Luffy, while Maabo received a trophy and #002.
