More than 1,000 players battled it out in the Osaka preliminaries, and as the dust settled, Baraki claimed the title with his Rebecca deck.
Rebecca is on a roll, claiming another title and cementing herself as the deck to beat in the current meta.
In the grand finals, we saw Baraki face Azumi’s Zoro. The odds are already stacked against Azumi before the match started, but it really looked like luck was on Baraki’s side. Azumi’s opening hand doesn’t have any low-cost characters that he can use to put pressure on the board. His RNG was so bad that there were turns he could only attack with his leader.

Azumi took 4 turns before he could drop a one-cost character; at that time, it didn’t matter anymore. Baraki’s board was already well-established that not even Whitebeard could survive the round.
Azumi tried to stage a comeback by clearing some characters on board and muscling through his way, but the card advantage was too much, and he failed to finish the game.
