Brace yourselves, fans of the beloved One Piece trading card game, for Bandai has just announced the upcoming Flagship Prizes. Shanks and Coby will be replaced by none other than the Yonko themselves: Kaido and Big Mom.

During the live stream of the JPN Preliminaries, Bandai officially confirmed the rumors that have been spreading for quite a while. Kaido and Big Mom will be the new Flagship prizes.

The new Flagship prizes feature the alternate art of 10-cost Kaido from OP01 and the Starter Deck Big Mom

Fans have mixed reactions to the announcement as both prizes are not serial numbered. This came from previous experiences where the interest of players is not that high when the prizes are not exclusive. We personally experienced joining Flagship tournaments where only eight players are in attendance back when Zoro and Queen are the prizes. The announcement of serial-numbered Shanks turned things around. Flagship tournaments are flooded with players and local game stores need to do qualifiers for them to fit the players.
