After hours of intense One Piece Trading Card Game action, the Singapore Championship Series 2023 saw its qualifiers come to an end. At the end of the day, the 2017 Yu-gi-Oh! World Champion, Ryosuke Tsujimura, stood on the top with his Blue-Black Sakazuki.

Although his journey to the top is not perfect, Tsujimura’s dominance still showed during the Swiss. He only dropped a single game against a Purple Luffy and managed to qualify for the top 16 with a score of 7-1.

Going into the finals, it looked like fortune played against Tsujimura as he faced five straight Red-Green Law. This a matchup that is very disadvantageous to his Blue-Black Sakazuki especially since he doesn’t run one of the cards that even out the matchup: Hound blaze

[Main] Up to 1 of your Leader or Character cards gains +3000 power during this turn. Then, place up to 1 Character with a cost of 2 or less at the bottom of the owner’s deck.

However, Tsujimura showed mastery of the deck and managed to dominate all the R/G Laws in the top cut with the help of Rob Lucci and claimed victory.

He won the Championship 2023 Kid and Law and a Trophy. He won’t be representing Singapore for the Championship 2023 due to a Nationality rule and the slot will be passed down to the top Singaporean player.
