In a captivating showcase of skill and strategic prowess, RIKI emerged triumphant in both the 1v1 and 3v3 Preliminaries tournaments of the One Piece Trading Card Game, held in the Philippines and organized by Gamersshop and Arken, respectively.

With his exceptional Blue-Black Sakazuki deck, RIKI dominated the 192-player 1v1 tournament, culminating in a thrilling final showdown against the local hero, Sherwin Aquino, featuring a mirror match. The finals saw an intense exchange of combos between both players, with RIKI’s unscathed Kuzan ultimately paving the way to his victory. Sherwin’s every move was countered by RIKI, courtesy of Kuzan’s invaluable assistance. This hard-fought win earned RIKI not only the coveted trophy but also the prestigious AA Law and Kid cards. Meanwhile, Sherwin Aquino, Vonicen Hernandez, and Christian Ramos secured their spots to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Regional Finals in January.

RIKI’s dominance extended to the 3v3 Preliminaries, where he joined forces with Matsu and Haru to form an unstoppable trio. Matsu played Purple Luffy, while Haru took on the role of Enel.
In the finals, Team Legend Duelist from Japan squared off against Team Yugi from the Philippines in an electrifying series of matches. The tension soared as the first two rounds ended in a draw, with the ultimate decider revolving around the Enel and RG Law matchup. Junjun’s Law meticulously calculated his final attacks, and it appeared that Team Yugi was on the cusp of victory. However, a clutch triger involving Bege saved Enel’s life, and Haru secured the win.

Team Yugi, comprising Hiroshi Odate, Gerald Mercado, and Junjun Agoto, will join the top three finishers of the 1v1 competition in the upcoming Regional Finals, further solidifying their standing as top contenders in the One Piece Trading Card Game in the Philippines.
